If you are comfortable with removing a cable to diagnose this issue, please follow the below steps.
- Disconnect the small cable from the Sanwa JLF to the main PCB. This cable can be disconnected on both ends and removed entirely from the Pro FS.
- Once it is removed, test the stick. There should be no directional inputs at all.
If the directional input continues, there is an issue is with the PCB. We may collect your Pro FS and repair the product in our facility, or we can send you a replacement PCB if you are comfortable with repairing the product yourself.
To remove and replace the PCB, please see the PCB Replacement Guide here.
if the directional input stops, we may be able to solve the issue with a replacement cable or the Sanwa microswitch assembly.

The Square, Triangle, Circle, or X button is not functioning on my Victrix Pro FS.
If the Victrix Pro FS is being used on PC (Steam), there is a possibility that the button mapping is not correct on the Steam application which causes the button to not activate.
- Please check the button mapping on steam and in the game you are playing.
If the Pro FS is being used on a PlayStation 4 or 5 console, open the Po FS back door and make sure both of the connectors are fully secured into place for the button that is not functioning (there will be 2 connectors for each button).
You may also carefully wiggle around the whole wiring harness to see if this has any effect on the button responsiveness. This may not “fix” the issue, but it may cause the button to register sporadically when pressed. If this is the case, the 16-pin wiring harness will need to be replaced.
You can try to disconnect the 16-Pin Wiring Harness from the connector and then reinserting it until it clicks into place. This is super easy and just requires pushing those 2 tabs to the side to remove the connector (not disconnecting each of the individual 16 pins, just the main connector).
If that connector is not seated correctly, it’s possible the pins are being shorted together.
Please contact Victrix customer support so we may either ship the replacement parts to you for self-repairs or collect the Pro FS for repairs at our facility.
